Cattails :: Blue Mountain, Ontario

I had the opportunity to spend a few wonderful days post-wedding craziness (we threw a PARTY) in Blue Mountain, Ontario with the wife.  Of coarse, I brought my camera gear, but the only took about 8 photos the whole time.  Mostly I sat on the couch and drank champagne, and did absolutely nothing.  Okay, not nothing, we DID visit an amazing hot spring spa while we where there.:)

I did like this shot I snagged walking near the hotel:

Of coarse, I’m also one of those weird people that photographs their food; but hey eggs & bacon is worthy of the attention!

Lydia & Geoff :: Charleston, SC.

Its been a very long time since I’ve updated this blog! I’ve been a bit busy, what with getting married myself, and transitioning to Canada, but everything has settled down now, so I’ll be updating more regularly in the coming months.

Speaking of weddings, I had the amazing opportunity, as a second shooter to the wonderfully talented Rachel Browne, to photograph Lydia and Geoff’s stunning Charleston wedding this fall. Held at Lowndes Grove Plantation, the details were so thought out,
everything had a place, and it just had an amazing vibe of “effortless cool”.  Toni @ Blue Planet, Green Events did an amazing job!
I couldn’t believe how photographically everything came together, and honestly, the whole night never felt like actual work! An amazing experience for everyone, the feeling of joy was palpable.

A huge congratulations go to Lydia & Geoff, as they start their new life together as a married couple!

Details, Details, Details!

A few dapper gentlemen getting prepared for the big day.

Excitingly, Lydia & Geoff opted for a “First Look”, a sneak peak of each other before the ceremony.  It was absolutely beautiful!

The boutonnieres & flowers continued the Organic theme, such rustic charm!

There was a whole lotta PDA going on, and it made for some stunning photos.  Seriously, how vogue are these two?

First kiss as Husband & Wife!

The details just didn’t stop!

First Dance

Many, many happy wishes to the both of you!

One of my favorite places to be. Not that I’m any good, mind you.
