While it’s no “Behind the Gare Saint Lazare”, the second I took this shot I thought of Henri Cartier-Bresson‘s famous image.
If only to make me smile, I thought it was a fitting image after a day of walking in the rain.

I had the amazing opportunity to sit in on one of the “Boreal Projections” put
together by Brett Gundlock, a local photojournalist, and member of the Boreal Collective.
An amazing collection of photographers, artists and interested individuals gathered to share work,
talk and critique, and get to know new friends and collaborators. It was fantastic to be a part of, and
I look forward very much to attending the next one!

The Annex to Chinatown & Back

Took a walk around Toronto, trying to get some of my street photography chops back.
Felt a little tentative, but thoroughly enjoyed exploring my new city, and getting back into my photographic groove.
